Following the incredibly successful first annual symposia series, PCS would like to invite you to take part again in our second series under its new theme and sporting a new agenda:

2nd Annual PCS Athens Symposium | 5 October 2023 | In Association with HFSF & Clifford Chance

Series II theme “Securitisation- The missing component of Europe’s financial architecture” will dive into how securitisation markets have been deployed outside of Europe for the benefit of the local economies.

The one day (in-person only) event will be a chance to hear from but also speak with experts in the field, discuss market trends and build relationships. In addition, the new series will continue to host panels of market participants, policy makers and regulators able to bring attendees up to date with both European and local developments and share their thoughts of the future. The formal part of the day will be followed by a cocktail party for a more informal opportunity to exchange views and perspectives.

Our discussions will cover the following topics:
  • An introduction of securitisation markets from a global perspective
  • Why synthetic securitisation? Key structural features, current market and future trends
  • A presentation on regulatory and prudential state of play
  • High level panel discussions from both issuers and investor's perspectives
  • Challenges and benefits of Trade Receivables and Warehousing on securitisation deals
  • Trends in Greece and European securitisation marketplace
For more details on the program and to register, see website here. All PCS events are complimentary.
